Mondays are typically hectic for me. Aren't they for everyone?
David's been working in California again which leaves me with a bit more to do.
Here's a run-down of what our day's been like so far (
and it's only 2:30):
I worked in the office; g
etting some billing/invoicing done while the
littles cooperatively sat on the couch and watched
tv (
I don't think I even made breakfast this morning). The big kids went outside and organized an otter pop sale with the neighbors.
Then I cleaned up the backyard:
Mowed the lawn (
I quickly learned that the self-propelled action on the self-propelled lawn mower no longer functions), cleaned out the chicken coop and picked up after the dogs (
this is the big kids job but school starts next week and they were having fun playing with friends...pathetic, I know).
I'm still scrambling to get everything else done. The dishes are piling up and so is the laundry (
last week's laundry was overtaken by sheets and blankets soiled with vomit and such).
But the princesses insist I watch them do a "dance show", complete with costumes and messy faces & hair. And they really want to go swimming too.
My chores can wait.
